I was surrounded by the cold, I thought I was about to pass out until I suddenly saw a small light fading away into the darkness. I tried to scream, but I wasn't able
to open my mouth. I tried to wave, but I wasn't able to move my fingers. I tried to run
and I did. I didn't know where to, but I kept running with my eyes closed in the hope
that I would find the source of that light. I haven't seen a single human being in weeks, maybe months. You forget what time is, when every day might be your last day. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the light, but it was still moving away from me. When I came closer, the light transformed into a silhouette. A silhouette of a person. A little girl to be exact. She had a white dress that was barely visible and long blonde hair, she looked like she came straight out of a fairytail. I was really close to her now and tried to get her attention by standing in front of her. There was no other way to communitate with all the noise of the cold. She looked into my eyes with a sad innocent face. I noticed a red flower between her hair and her left ear. How is she able to stand the cold with only a dress? She suddenly grabbed my hand and started running, I saw the light came from her hair. Her hair was creating a white glowing light. Her hand lost contact with mine all of sudden when we entered a church. I've never visited the church that much before...you know, I wasn't catholic. What was she looking for in the church? I closed the doors behind us while the loud noise slowly died. It was very quiet now. The girl I was just with a minute ago disappeared. Where did she go? I convinced myself that she was just exploring, but there was something weird about that girl. White dress, blonde hair that gives light, who suddenly disappears. Is it so cold now that I am hallucinating? I looked up...and immediately looked down again. That wasn't jesus. I looked up again...it was the girl. I lost control and started breathing repeatedly. I have seen people die, but I haven't held their hands while they were dead. Was it...Never in a million did I ever think that I would see a ghost. When I wanted to turn around to move on, something fell. A red flower. I picked it up and put it in my right chest pocket while looking at the lifeless body of the girl. What I saw just a while ago...it was real. Then I opened my eyes and woke up. I looked around the camp and saw other survivors sleeping. I felt something in my chest, it was a red flower.
