Nuclear Winter Contest: Scavenger

In the past, countries have had many quarrels and sometimes even revoloutionary wars... And then, out of knowhere, the nuclear war happened. Each country made troops and defended the borders and so on, at one point they even held patrols and curfews. After the war, populations decreased, towns were destroyed, and the whole world changed.

On the barren wasteland, and lone figure stands, she was a soldier who saw her comrades die, now she haunts the nearby abandoned group of houses. She scavenges for food and uses scraps of cloth found in the houses. Because she has no way to get back to a large city, she travels to nearby villages, the closest are at least 6 miles away. The war changedd this girl's life in ways that no emotions or pictures could describe.
