Ortis is centuries old warrior of the ancient civilization Pentras. He was the head gurad of the town and the only survivor of the evil spirt, Magron's attack. Magron turned the town into solid stone and Ortis only survived because he had a similar power to create things out of stone. The town was lost in time, but it was found many centuries later by a wandering band of mages. He became sealed in a Silver Key and began to serve under the mage who freed him, Dreya Gilden.
