He was one of the few who made it out. How it happened, he had no idea, but he knew he had to move. Before he decided what to do, he heard footsteps. "It's over," he thought, until he heard two loud thumps. He looked up, and saw a man standing over the corpses. The man said nothing, but his eyes seemed to say something; "Go." That man had saved other survivors of the nuclear attacks, but the survivor knew they wouldn't last. He was only stalling their deaths.
