Survivor Of The Nuclear Winter

The year 2285. The final year in official recorded history. I was watching T.V. When I heard it. A loud whistling, and then an even louder boom. I rushed to my fallout shelout shelter, and as the hatch closed I heard the wave of debris and fire obliterate my home. T hen came the winter. The everlasting winter. I survived for 5 years off the supplies stored in my shelter, before I ran out of water. I was able to go one more day, before I was forced outside by dehydration. 1 year and 157 wounds later, I have found another shelter. This shelter was a laboratory before the winter, and as such, was stocked with plenty of food and water. I am worried though. This building was so well stocked, so why is it empty? Wait. What was that sound? It sounded like a dying beast taking its final, rasping, breaths. Crap. I can see something limping in the distance. I have no idea what that is. In my year of wandering, I have seen only a very small amount of living creatures in the wasteland. But this creature seems to move very stiffly, almost as if frozen. I have decided to go closer and observe this creature...
