The Story of the Spiroa

New York, a once bustling city aboveground, has been crushed by nuclear weaponry. In the depths of the sewers, two unique species thrived in their new unthreatened and underground city. Cockroaches, the ultimate survivors of radiation, huddled in their large groups, or scouted for food, no longer victims of extermination. Spiders, with their agile limbs, steathily crawled throughout the sewers, injecting their fangs into whatever living beings they could find.

Both species slowly mutated from the radioactivity into one final hybrid: the Spiroa.

The Spiroa was agile, had sticky feet, eight eyes, hairs, and huge fangs like a spider, and it had antennae, a hard exoskeleton, and the ability to survive radiation like a cockroach. Even more influenced by the radiation, it became more intelligent, and it, being the victim of extermination no longer, attacked the last surviving humans, with the intention of eliminating past and possibly future tyrants that could destroy it.
