Warmth

Story: The sun was on the horizon. All I heard was a whistling sound, I suspected it was the wind. Until a huge roar hit me smashing my windows and throwing me onto my feet. "Dad!!!, wake up! theres something seriously wrong!". I got no response, I sprinted into his room, I saw him, in shock tears rolling down his cheek. "Dad!, please!". He just lay there clutching his sheet, holding in up by his head. I couldn't see him like this, "Its me! Caitlin". He shook his head, then whispered. "what have I done?...". I ran out of the house in need of help and saw a town torn into pieces. This was when it struck me. Nuclear winter. I ran back inside and glanced in his room, he pointed at something behind me and croaked "Caitlin...". I was pulled away by a gloved hand and thrown unconscious. I woke up in a snowy park, with a gas mask on my face. I looked round, nobody to be seen. I collapsed onto the ground, speachless. What will I do next...
