Dreading is this new Ice Age the winds howl across the frozen drifts that were once streets the hollowed builds moune and broken glass creak..  The guardsman shudders his nose red and face bitten by frost, He turns to his scout buddy attending to their snow mobile wagon "The worse day for my liquire to run out, ive got nothing to keep the frost out of my nose." he mouned.  "I think our biggest fear will be is if our engine wore out, we must be back before dark or the'y close the doors on us." his companition countered.
The winds intesified making a crane shudder its long hook swinging uneasly,
BoOOombAdoM........ The Echoing bang danced from ruin to ruin ending with a Clang!...  "Howell!" the guardsman called unslinging his auto gun and bringing it to arms. His companition turned and got up, "Falling debris?" he said his voice tense.  "No one wants to go look" The Guardsman stammerd "Get her started, lets move" he barked.. His buddy mounted the mobile and with the third reving got it started. The Guardsman truned back to the sound of crushing snow, he squinted forward looking, A Mass of Fur was comming on all fours Hurling itself at speed, Its Horns High its eyes glowing blue bearing great fangs, Bears had lesser claws.. Its breath freezing in air, driven by hunger...
"Drive!" the guardsman shrieked jumping on the wagon back, the engine wined the wagon turned and fled.. "what is that?" the guardsman wailed, "Shut up, SHOOT!" his companition cryed.. the guardsman fired emptying his first clip, To what little affect the wounds had to the creature, Still it gave chase.. twisting from street to street they raced the monster smashing things behind them.
Now dessprite on one clip the Guardsman reached for his only Stick Granade and Hurled it at the ruin coner as they turned it. With a Explotion followed by a crumble the building coner fell filling the road.. The Beast Rawred with dismay his path blocked, loosing his prey.. With a sigh of relief the Guardsman laughed with joy speeding off Homeword bound.
They leave the ruied city.. A Echoing Ywooooool of dispare from the ruins they left behind.....
