Backstory: Troy was born to Jacob and Andrea Angeles, who lived in southern California at the time; her home was burned in a fire and her parents later gave her up for adoption. She ended up being adopted by a Scottish family that lived in the highlands, but she chose not to take their surname. Troy despised school during her childhood and adolescent years and chose not to go to secondary school. Instead she filled her spare hours with rocks, sea breezes, and somewhat risky water sports with a board for a raft. ;) She finally grew old enough to join a small nature troupe of likeminded young adults; she was the youngest person in history to scale Mount Everest and reach its summit (age 18). Now she resides in a seaside cottage off the shore of the Shetland Islands with no family but a myriad of docile exotic animals for her daily company. She dreams of exploring all the ends of the world and doing what no one has dared to try before.
