The Man that single-handedly saved the world from the alien invasion. Not much is known about him, but legend tells that he fought wave after wave of alien insects, finally coming out on top and becoming one of the greatest heroes of all time.
My Entry for the 29th Retro Skin Contest is the Pilot of the starfighter in Galaga (1981), one of the most successful games during the Golden Age of Videogames, which took place during the early 1980's. In the game, the player had to fight off waves of enemies, while trying to protect their starfighter and eventually beat the game.
After a lot of brainstorming (and coming up with Ideas that I didn't like), I decided to look towards videogames, since everyone loves them, and my brain wandered onto the idea of Galaga, more specifically, the Pilot. After searching for quite a while, I found out that the Pilot is never mentioned, since the player is supposed to be the pilot, which is also the reason why I didn't add a face under the helmet, so that it could be anyone. I like how the skin turned out, and I had a fun time making it.
