Freta Berserkers were one of the most ferocious parts of the Freta Army. Insanity-crazed members of the Freta society, they hide in the caves near the underwater city, carving strange symbols onto the walls and mumbling to themselves about "The Uprising".

Originally, if hunters found one while out on the prowl, they sedated them and then brought them back for containment in the large padded rooms beneath the bustling underwater city. They were then fitted with fresh clothes, a shoulder-guard, and a pair of knuckledusters. They were released into battle from large cages, and then they went...well, berserk. They bashed in heads and smashed into the opposing army, causing serious injury, and even death of said opposition in most cases. After they were finished with their fighting, they curled into a fetal position and were taken back to Atlantis, back to the padded cell that awaited the next manic episode.

However, King Oenomaus Dacron, the current ruler of Atlantis, saw this practice as savage and inhumane, and after many months of discussion with his council, declared the act of imprisonment of the poor souls illegal and punishable by 3 years in prison and a fine of 30 Etade, which is equal to 300 Sovde. The few remaining Berserkers were released back into the sea, where they live in the caves once more...however, they're not the only creatures lurking in the caves surrounding the city. Rumours of sea-snakes living there have been spreading through the city faster than wildfire, but they're only rumours.
