Flowey is the first character encountered in Undertale. He provides an introduction to the mechanics of encounters by "sharing friendliness pellets", which are actually harmful bullets. He attempts to mislead the protagonist by urging them to take a violent approach throughout their journey in the Underground.
"Howdy! I'm FLOWEY! FLOWEY the FLOWER!"
