Backstory: Matthew, born in a rich family, sought for a better desire than his family anticipated. Unlike Hikari, he was wanting to do his best to become a successful man, but for his extreme care for Hikari, it backed him away from doing so. Hikari grew up with him when he was 8. He was found in a dark forest by himself. Hikari's family "adopted" him and raised him as their own until the age of 14. He discovered Element Sanctuary where he practiced his Water element and where he resided temporarily.
