I haven't watched Zootopia yet, and I don't want to copy the description from Wikipedia, so let's talk about technique! I used Google's material design colo(u)r palette. It has nice colo(u)rs in it, so I'd recommend it. I also used MCSkin3D. The reason Nick's tie is checkerboard and not stripe is because I think it looks much better.
