-this is an old skin with my old shading style I just haven't had time to write the story so here it is-
The sky was gray, as per usual. Wrapping my coat around myself wouldn't keep me warm today, for some reason. I looked for patterns of dirt on my red jeans, trying to entertain and distract myself. Each person would stare at me as the walked past. No-one would ask about me. I'd lost my shoes long ago. My hair was pulled back with a hair tie I had found on the street. It was usually down. Today seemed to be different. A little girl across the street pointed at me, tugging on her mothers coat. Her mother, who had pretty blonde hair and these shining brown eyes took her daughter's hand and crossed the street. She handed her daughter some coins and a oatmeal bar. I blinked my eyes to make sure it was really happening, next thing I knew the girl was infront of me. "Hello, who are you?" I ask quietly, my voice croaky from having not spoken for a while.
"I'm Jane." she says, pushing her ginger hair away from her face with small fingers. "Who are you?"
"Mor-" I begin, then hearing a mother hiss to her daughter 'stop staring, keep walking.!'. "Morleigh." I finish, smiling.
"Are you okay? You seem lonely and very skinny."
"I have no home, hon." I pause. "Nor money."
"Have some coins." she says, handing me the coins.
"I couldn't they belong to you. I'll be alright."
"Here, please tale the coins." she wraps my hands around the coins, giving me a smile.
Three years later we are best friends and she visits me every day. I found a nice little abandon house and did the place up as best I could. I managed to get into a school and have now caught up.
