Hello Folks!
I'm new to Minecraft and I have just signed up for the Minecraft forums and I am proud to present to you The D.O.G.'s Incredible Skin Cabinet!
Ever since I've found the option to upload your own custom skins (yesterday, that is) I have probably spent more time creating new skins in Photoshop than actually playing Minecraft. I have currently 3 finished skins and a lot more in the works!
I'll update this thread as I complete more skins. I'll also write a little bit of info on all the skins, what the inspiration was, what they're based on etc.
Feel free to comment on my work and if you've got some ideas on what I could improve on existing skins or what new skins I could make, tell me!
So here we are, the first three of many skins to come! (You'll pretty quickly see that I love Marvel comics :biggrin.gif:)
Iron Spider
Iron Spider was my first Minecraft skin. The Iron Spider Costume is a special Suit Spider-Man received from Iron Man during the Marvel Civil War. In the comics it's got 3 Doc Ock style metal arms on the back.

Future Foundation Spider-Man
After The Human Torch died, the remaining members of the Fantastic Four, alongside Spider-Man and other, not yet anounced Super Heroes formed the Future Foundation, complete with all new suits. The first issue of Future Foundation will be released 2/28/11, here's an article on Marvel.com with info on the new series and Pictures of the new suits.
I didn't figure out how the arms and legs are projected on the model so I put the black pattern on the backside.

The first Avenger, Steve Rogers aka. Captain America in his legendary, classic suit! The iconic Outfit in which Cap has faced many Adventures and fought loads of enemies!

I'm currently planning on making Iron Man's liquid suit which has been introduced in Invincible Iron Man #25 and I also want to come up with some original ideas and designs outside the marvel universe. Stay tuned!
