As the scientists are the spine of NanoQuarters, inc., the overseers are the vertebrae that protect them. The main role of an overseer is to watch experiments and make sure the scientists conducting it are not damaged, as well as making sure the regulations are followed to the letter and approving exceptions to those regulations as necessary for the experiment. However, their most notable role, and arguably their most important one, is the emergency termination and annihilation of these experiments in the event of an outbreak, spill or other catastrophic failure of containment procedures. And with a photon blade, flight modules and an E.M.P. attachment designed to completely incapacitate pretty much anything capable of movement, they're well equipped for the job.
