Apocalypse Zombie - May Skin Contest - With backstory!

A zombie for da contest in May.
Let there be gore.

Story:

It was just an normal day at the hospital. We got normal injurys coming in. We had a normal routine. Everything was all the same. Until they brought in a rather unusual case. They said the victim was scratched, but they didn't know from what. Bones were showing through his clothes. He had large patches of infected wounds scattered around his body. We dealt with moaning and screaming until the victim became restless. He started attacking us as we tried to work. We gave him a pill to make him fall asleep, but it didn't work. Eventually, however, he started to calm down. Soon we didn't get a response. We stopped. But, even when there was no heart response, he started to move. Very slowly. We all waited for a while. Apparently it was the wrong move. He raised his arm, flexing his fingers, then let it go. It hit like a knife. Strait down my chest. I shreiked, clutching my wound and trying to get away from him. But it was no use. My body was not moving properly, and my wound started to bleed a light yellow colour. Then it changed to blue, then a normal red. My wound was hot and festering, giving off an odd smell. Falling to my side, I waited out the pain until darkness took over and any feeling at all was extracted to nothing.
