CYI are, or rather were, a United States Military Project that was intended to revolutionize war by not having 'people' go in but to have... his kind go in our place. However, the Americans knew not of the powers they were messing with. To engineer CYI they had to use the infamous 'Solumn' virus and cross-breed it with the common cold then, after 12 hours of surgery on a corpse, a CYI would emerge.

CYI did not work as intended, no, he instead regained the worst of the previous person's memories and anger, causing each CYI to be notoriously violent. And due to the influence of Solumn they had a increasing desire for flesh.

And even worse than this was the fact that since all they bodies were ex-military, so these THINGS were trained in the art of stealth.
Most recently, one was found in a young child's closet, waiting for a mid-night snack...
