Djinn (also known as Genies) have deep roots into Arab culture. They are mainly known from tales Scheherazade told in "The Thousand and One Nights". Djinn are mythical beings that believed responsible for illness and mishaps. They often take pleasure in punishing people who have wronged them in someway even if it wasn't on purpose. There are five types of Djinn. The weakest being Jann, Djinn, and Sheytans. Afrits (also known as Efreets) are one of the most powerful. The most powerful one being Marids which is the most dangerous of them all. Sometimes magicians would trap them in brass lamps.
