Donkey Kong, the titular character and the first playable character in the game, is a large, muscular Mountain Gorilla who wears a red monogrammed necktie. His weapon of choice is the "Coconut Shooter" (a rifle that shoots coconuts), and his instrumental attack, fittingly, is the "Bongo Blast".
