So i didnt make it into the top 100. Its fine, at least dinow's skin did. Maybe next time i will! :D Good luck to those who made it into the top 100!!!
It was the year 2012. Holllyyy crap. How she had survived this nuclear disaster, she did not know. After Russia and China had dropped a bomb more powerful then all the nuclear disasters in history combined, including every atomic bomb detonated, on America after a fight over the last,and largest, oil deposit in the world located in Antarctica, all hell had broken loose. Behind her stood the remnants of the New York City skyline. Bodies littered the ground like ants. Fires raged across the city, and nuclear warheads were dropped in America's largest cities everyday. Maybe it was the cancer, or the treatment, that had helped her survived, she thought. Diagnosed with cancer at age 10, the cancer had been removed just months before Russia and China declared war. She was one of the first to be treated with a new,secret, "high tech" treatment. Doctors assured her that there were no drastic side affects, but she begged to differ. She now could run faster, jump higher, and was smarter than before. The burn on her side suddenly throbbed with pain, gained when another survivor, desperate to live, pushed her into a fire. The irony was that she lived, the other died. As she walked in what was once Times Square, she stared at the remnants of the giant screen, fiddling with her mother's necklace. As tears came to her eyes, mixing with the blood from a gash above her eye, she whispered to herself, "I could have saved you. I could have saved all of you."
Woo! The first contest skin im actually proud of! The story too. I might continue it, i might not. Tell me if i should! I will be posting a sketch i made of this skin later. My entry for the contest <3 sorry it wasent more creative, i put all the creativity i had into the story. Also my ideas were pretty limited. And no racism, prejuice meant here. I used China and Russia since they are global superpowers, and have used/experimented with nuclear power/warheads
