This is my attempt at the underwater contest and this is Krux the squid crusader. Backstory: Krux grew up in a complex underwater cave with his family he loved more than anything until one day it all changed. They had been in a war with the octopus tribe for a year now and they were finally making their last attempt to overthrow the squid crusaders. The squid crusaders had always been one tentacle ahead but not today. They were pouring in from every crack they could fit into slaughtering any squid in their way. The squid crusaders had expected an ambush but not by this many and were strictly outnumbered. Krux watched as everyone he knew and loved fall. Krux had not yet learned to fight for the crusaders and was completely defenseless. The only hope to survive was to run. He wished he could help his family more than anything. Out of the chaos an enemy octopus burst out heading straight for Krux. He felt an adrenaline rush surge through his body and swam faster than he ever thought was possible. Krux looped around a patch of coral and dove down into a grassland of seaweed to hide in. The foe searched throughout the seaweed and couldn't find a trace of him until he heard,achoo! Krux had sneezed and probably made a fatal mistake that would get him killed. The invading octopus drew all eight of his swords,one in each hand,and made a turn straight for Krux. Krux was finished. The foe put all eight swords up in the air ready to strike. Krux thought about losing his family, his friends,his home,and now his life. He couldn't let it end this way,the squid crusaders had worked to hard to perish at the hands of their enemy. Right before his weapon made contact an enormous surge of power and strength flowed through his body. Krux felt like he could do anything! Strands of seaweed from the floor below shot up grabbing the intruder pinning him to the floor. Krux had awakened a new strength within himself. He rushed over to where the main fight was occurring. Using every bit of power and strength he willed the seaweed to entangle the onslaught of octopuses. The seaweed leaped over them in a swarm and immobilized them all. That day Krux had become a hero and because of him the squid crusaders declared victory against the octopus tribe! From that day on Krux, master of seaweed, continued to serve the squid crusaders in battle and became the most fierce crusader the sea had ever known.| Description | Link | Type | Not mirrored because |
