o A Skin o
This skin represents my favourite looks (among all the ones I've had), as well as a part of my personality.The cartoonish looks express my simple, sometimes childish self.
Green is absolutely my favorite color, so I'm wearing my favourite green hoodie shirt. Black is a close second, so it was included as well.
o A Person o
I started skinning randomly and casually, because a friend of mine wanted a skin, and could find none that he liked. I gave it a try, and found out that... I LIKED DOING IT! It turned out a little dull, since it was my first one. But it was fun and gave me a great satisfaction.
I kept skinning from that moment on, trying to improve my technique and to create some quality work that people could enjoy.
I mainly do it for myself and my love for the characters that I depict. I want them to look good, or decent, even on Minecraft. 
o An Opinion o
I think that PMC itself is an awesome website. It's very functional in what it does, it tries to promote creativity through contests, and the staff seems to be pretty quick when dealing with reports.The community has its ups and downs:
There's some awesome and creative people on here.Kind users and gifted skinners, builders, modders, texture pack designers. They all make the game and this place a lot better.
There's also the other side of the coin: Unoriginal people who can only post dull skins and overused subjects without even trying to improve or get better ideas. I mean, we already have enough teens with headphones, herobrines, yogscast and whatnot. Please, make it stop.
Even worse - there's those people who steal other's work, either by reposting or (badly) editing without crediting the original creators. They're the cancer of this place, of the internet, and of the whole world. There's a big difference between imitating and stealing, and also between sharing and stealing. There's no satisfaction in praise, if it's achieved through stealing other's work. Are they so stupid that they can't understand?
o An Idea o
Users could make this place a little better by: Rewarding good work through feedback. Seriously, if you think something is awesome, go and reward it, don't just download and walk away! Leave a diamond, drop a comment, add to favourites if you'd like. JUST DO IT! >.< Leaving constructive critique. Saying "this sucks" is not productive. Tell people what you don't like about the submission and how to improve it! :D PMC should adopt harsher punishments against thieving. 
- Significant experience withdrawals. With significant I mean entire levels. Some people just post for experience and levels, so it'd be an effective deterrent.
-Longer and harder account suspensions (not for only hours or days: weeks, then months) and permabans.
