Neville Longbottom in Sweater Vest- From HP 5, the Order of the Phoenix

For the Book/ Movie Character Contest, I've decided to make Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter as he looked like in the Order of the Pheonix movie while wearing a sweater vest and jeans. Neville is my favorite Harry Potter character because he's the only person boss enough to fight Voldemort with a sweater vest and hair parted down the middle like a little kid.

Harry Potter, from Neville's perspective (Short Version):

Neville Longbottom was raised by his nutty grandmother who thought he was a muggle. In case you don't know, Muggles are ordinary people, like you and me. Well, his grandmother did not want Neville to be a muggle, yet he had shown no signs of being... different. One day, his grandmother was so mad that he wouldn't show signs of wizardry that she held him upside down from a high window and let go of his ankles. When he landed, he bounced, and was unharmed. Yes, Neville was no muggle. In fact, Neville Longbottom was a wizard!!!

Like all wizards in the London area, Neville would be going to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry when he was eleven years old. In preparation, he went down Diagon Alley and bought some of the supplies needed to go to Hogwarts in the fall. Some such of these items were his wand, a cauldron, a toad, some books, and a toad. With all his supplies together, the days untill he would go to Hogwarts came and past very quickly.

Then, the day to go to Hogwarts arrived, and Neville was standing on the other side of platform nine and three quarters, staring up at the Hogwarts Express with his bags in his hand. He hopped on board and sat next to a girl he'd met in Diagon Alley whose name was Hermione Granger, who was a half-blood. The train took off and he stared out the window, anxious to finally be at Hogwarts. Halfway there he realized he couldn't find his toad and Hermione went off to look for it. When she came back with the toad, she told Neville that Harry Potter, the boy who had lived, was on the train and would be attending Hogwarts with them.

And then there was Hogwarts. A grand, magical castle on the other side of a lake, lit up and quite noticeable to Neville, but oblivious to the rest of the muggle world. When they were inside, they were greeted by Dumbledore, the Head Master, other teachers and staff, and the returning witches and wizards. Next, they were sorted into the wizard houses of Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Gryffindor. When it was Neville's turn, the sorting hat called out, "GRYFFINDOR!!!!" and, embarrassed, Neville went to sit down at the Gryffindor table before he realized that he was still wearing the sorting hat. Even more embarrassed, Neville returned the hat to the stool, after much laughter. Hermione, Harry Potter, and some other familiar faces also went to Gryffindor. Others went elsewhere.

The next weeks went by as Neville settled in, learned magic, and studied. Neville was proved to be terrible at magic and quickly became the laughing stock of the wizards from other houses. However, Neville seemed to be adept at Herbalism. Hermione, Harry Potter, and a boy named Ron Weasley hung out together a lot and Neville was left on the outs, trying to get better at wizardry. The three of them got in much trouble, despite Neville's warnings.

Seemingly random, at the end of Neville's first year at Hogwarts, Harry, Hermione, and Ron saved some sort of sorcerers stone from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

The next few years were much the same, but by their fifth year, Neville wanted in on the adventure. He joinded a secret club that Harry made called Dumbledore's army. He trained in wizardry and in defeating the dark forces of Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Soon, Dumbledore's army went to find Harry Potter's prophecy from amidst some doors with many dangers that Harry saw in a dream. And then Voldemort and his Death Eaters show up, but although Neville ends up laughing like a maniac and captured by a certain Beatrix Lestrange, they escape and NEVILLE SHOWS EVERYBODY WHAT A BOSS HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
