Robot girl/ Corrupted human

This is kind of a skin of two storys. It is either a human who was infected with a terrible creation, little nanobots who slowly turn the humans into a borg-like creature, one with the hive mind. OR. It is a robot that was very realistic in it's ability to look human. It was beat up in a fight defending it's master/creator, and the human skin-like rubber was or burned away. You can chose on your own, or post a comment on what you think is the better story.
