Shzi is the god of fear, its name originates from old, middle-eastern Christian mythology (300-1000 B.C.).
The story tells of people who have become lost, who suddenly experience a thick fog, something you can't see more than a few feet in. While the fog thickens around them they start to feel a strong confusion, almost like a concussion, but with no pain, just dizziness and total loss of control. Then the voices start, people have said it sounds like relatives, but with a more dark and rotten voice tone to it. No one has yet heard what the voices had said, people said it sounded like some foreign language. When the voices become stronger, glowing eyes and flames begin to appear in the distant fog, slowly coming closer to the victim. Coming from every direction, the victim has nowhere to run, frozen in fear in its location. When the voices are close to deafening, and the eyes and flames are just a few feet away it all disappears in a matter of seconds, leaving the victim in total fear and confusion, not knowing who they are, when they are and where they are.
Being still alive they begin to wander, sooner or later someone else might find them, walking, not being able to take eye-contact with and impossible to communicate with. The victims have therefor gotten the name "Wanderers".
The loss of abilities to function properly might be there for the rest of the person's life, but can begin to fade after a few years (that's how people know what happened).
Now why would you call this a god?, might some people ask. Well, the story tells of Shzi having a strong connection to the devil, to Satan himself, being a half-god. It also only strikes people who have made sins in their life, therefor having a strong resemblance to Satan. It still have the powers of a real god though, being immortal and not only having one existence in one place, but an infinite existence all over the world, where its duty calls. The specific appearance of it is still vast, no one has yet seen it in detail, but the old writings and paintings show a creature, man-like with arms and legs wearing a robe that's covering the head, only leaving the glowing white eyes visible.
Although there has been one captured sighting of it. An American group of scientists managed to capture an image of it when they mounted a special camera in a forest where they sent out a former criminal. They later lost contact with him, and the camera stopped working after two bright spots (eyes?) had appeared on their screen. The morning after they found him wandering around in the forest with the symptoms I mentioned earlier. The experiment was later considered illegal, and the images were later censured by the US government (therefor they're pretty much impossible to find).
I based the look of the skin from what I read, and a bit from what I would think it would look like.
