the Plagued

JOURNAL ENTRY: September 19th 2063 (297 days since outbreak)

As I sit here writing this I look out my window trying to imagine Vancouver as it once was. I imagine gardens and trees, Bright sculptures, People going about there lives. Of course I've never seen Vancouver before, I only moved here a week ago after hearing there aren't as many plagued in Canada... more of a chance of survival as the plagued were beginning to hoard the states. I came from Seattle and drove my R.V. alone here after My Wife and daughter were killed... I managed to find Three other survivors here in Vancouver which now looks more like a giant scrap yard more than a city. Vancouver took the worst of the tremors but it has the most survivors and least plagued out of any known city. So this is where I will stay for quite some time. Snot a day goes by that I don't wish the government hadn't accidentally released the rats they were testing, or at least no one had been bit. But I knew that wasn't the reality. After Jim mordgensteine was scratched by one of the rats he changed slowly he grew more aggressive. And began to steal raw meat from the super market. Then one day his eyes just shriveled up, just like that, gone. He lost most of his hair and teeth. Then tentacles grew from his mouth and he began to rot. It was scary enough having all of this happen so suddenly... I would have much rather him have been dead and not walking around moaning at people as it happened. He walked past me and I just starred at him at horror his checkered shirt and jeans had tore and he just starred at me as though he could seem me even though he had no eyes. This was the first time I had seen him since he looked perfectly normal, so I was freaking out. That when I ran didn't even think about CALLING the cops I just sprinted all the way to the department. I told them about everything and they sent me back to my house with a task force and an ambulance. When I got home my brother Jim was eating my family...
