The Rift

The rift is pyschical anomally that should not exist. It does not eat, it does not sleep, it doesn't even blink. The rift does not have disquinshible features except for things that may resemble limbs and a giant glowing tear in it's body where a glowing amber eye stares out unblinkingly. It only appears out of cornered areas such as street corners, the corners of a room, or even the edges of a person's vision. When attempts have been made to photograph it the space in which the thing occupied in the photograph pyshically hurts the eyes to look at. Those who stared at it too long suddenly snap and fall to the floor gibbering. It's origins (if any) are unkown, and nobody can tell what it wants. The only thing it does is stand and stare silently with it's one glowing eye.
