CHAPTER 1Cyberpunk Skin Contest, this is Colonel Jaxle of the third brigade of star fleet six.
back story- its a must read
He was commanding his ship when there was a tremble from the starboard side of the ship in the living quarters of sergeant William Axle, the durantian alien species are ATTACKING them! Jaxle shouts "Man your posts!! we're under attack!" he rushes to the command chair rapidly touching buttons and typing keyboards trying to get the chip back online, "We just lost engines three and four!" shouted technician Gilroy. Jaxle's mind racing trying to think of what to do! *thoughts* -=situation=- we are in the middle of space and we are about to be blown to bits by aliens*thoughts* Then it hits him! I'll jump into hyperspace to the nearest planet and hopefully it is inhabitable! *computer* Engaging light-speed *computer* ZOOOOM *computer* Scanning planet...... status, inhabitable. *computer* The ship barely holding itself together goes towards the planet and just as it enters the atmosphere it starts going down,SIREN weee-oooooo-weeee-ooooo SIREN *computer* ship losing functions *computer* Jaxle rushes to the Escape pod bay, and he launches the pod just as the ship explodes behind him, the last thing that he remembers before he blacks out is the sight of his friends and troops being killed within the exploding ship.

Jaxle wakes up disorientated heavy breathing he steps out of his escape pod and scans the perimeter...
