It's for a roleplay. Some winter clothes would be nice, like leather and fur, maybe a cap ( traditional Russian winter cap ushanka http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ushanka )
He should have thick, high fur boots like the Russians wear in winter.
Regarding the face, he should have light brown hair and green or brown eyes. A beard would be nice but it's not necessary.
Some equipment would look very nice, like a musket strapped to his back but again it's not necessary
