Axel was apart of earth's militia in the great galaxy war of 2377. As a commander in chief on the front line, he took the brunt of the bombing that wiped 3/4 of Europe off the face of the world. As medic's rushed to the scene they could only salvage most of his vitalorgans. They gave him a new body but not all of it could be human, for he only had one lung, and his heart wasn't working properly. So they salvaged some oftheirmarine-bots parts and made Axel a cyborg.
