Lord of Nightmares, Fauir

Influence by the God Fauir is incredibly common, but he is rarely seen in a physical form. Mainly, he takes the form of shadows and has the power of what we know as nightmares. This may seem like a petty annoyence rather than any dangerous ability. Many think "Its only a dream it can't hurt us." Yet although this god is only in control of nightmares, he can be responsible for fear, insanity and many other psychological disorders. A more dramatic result of his nightmares is that each nightmare slowly drains away the life energy inside you.

This god was originally created by the God of dreams in order to help him monitor and create dreams for mankind. The god of dreams was a loving god and praised the race of humans. Yet Fauir was disgusted by the pride and vanity of many of the dreams he had to make, and how few dreams didn't idolize the dreamer. Eventually it lead him to the conclusion that mankind was a corrupt race and didn't deserve the blessing of dreams. He wasn't nearly as powerful as the god of dreams, so he couldnt stop the flow of dreams, yet he was able to produce a curse, the curse of nightmares. The God of dreams tried to contain all the nightmares, yet many were able to avoid the God of dreams. Fauir escaped to such a forbidden place that not even the God of dreams would dare venture to create his nightmares.
