Santa was getting SOOO annoyed with the elves working for him in the workshop! Their laziness, lack of cooperation, and tude! He decided he had enough! He was going to replace them with robotic elves! They didn't need sleep, food, water, and never got angry! They just WORKED, WORKED, WORKED!!! They are set to finally be released in 2019!
