"Santa Claus" By PixelPancake
It was the night before Christmas
and up at the north pole
All the elves were working
Reading the toys and the coal.
Santa sat watching
In his warm cozy lair
Checking up on their progress
Laying back in his chair
But on one of the monitors
He noticed something queer
An elf had stopped working
And smiled an evil little sneer
The elf then backed up
Very cool and calm
Reached into his coat
And pulled out a large bomb
Old St Nick gasped and sputtered
And then started to cough
staring at the blank screen
As he heard an explosion go off
he threw open the door
with a tear in his eye
His workshop was gone
Santa let out a sigh.
He looked all around
To see what remained
Sadly, nothing was left
And Santa felt drained
But out from the wreck
On that foggy night
Popped out a little nose
growing with a red light
Santa ran forward
And pushed away the rubble
It was Rudolf, the reindeer
But he was in trouble
He was burned all over
And cut here and there
Santa got right to work
And finished with no time to spare
It was an hour to Christmas
And Santa knew just what to do
He grabbed his magic sack
Hopped onto Rudolph, then flew
They sped around the world
from each pole to pole
delivering nice kids the toys
and the bad kids the coal
Then as last house was delivered
Every child awoke
Santa watched as they smiled
And gave thanks to their folks
Santa and Rudolph had done it
And In just the nick of time.
Now, this poem is done
and so is this rhyme.
I KNOW IT'S TERRIBLE.
My entry for the Santa's Workshop contest! It's what Santa Claus actually looks like, heavily based on the one from the Regular Show holiday special. I hope you like it!
