This is Terra, God of Grass. He is the one that decides the life or death of the poor dirt block, whether it be outside, sprawling next to already grown grass, or whether it be in a deep, nasty cave, filled with bats and lava.

He is not normal. He is frowned upon the other gods because of the lack of "real power" he has. The other gods did not respect him. Terra decided to show them just how important he is to the others.
He sneaked up on to all of the well kept, well manicured, well looking lawns of ALL the gods and goddesses. He then decided the fate of the grass, killing it all off, turning it to mere,mortaldirt. He went back to his loving abode, slept peacefully, and awoke in the morning. He did not expect to see all the other gods and goddesses at his doorstep, begging him to return their precious grass. After more begging, he finally gave in. He promised to return the grass, only if he were to have gained respect from all the other gods and goddesses. They accepted, and Terra was happier than he had ever been!
