Bernard started of working as a servant in the castle of sir migenlot and had always had a passion for entertaining. He loved thinking of funny things that he could do to perform to others and he loved to make people laugh. However that had nothing to do with his job as he was the person who would clean up after others and was fundamentally a cleaning boy. He would always clean up the dishes and then sweep and generally just make the whole place clean for his majesty. However this was not exactly the best thing that Bernard had enjoyed doing and so he would try to entertain himself whilst he is cleaning up. He would try to balance dishes on broom sticks, throw knives and forks in the air and make up jokes while he worked. During one day there had been news that the king had fallen sick, everyone who worked in the castle went straight to Sir Mingenlots room and were gobsmacked. There were so many emotions flowing on in the room from confused to sad. When people started leaving Sir Mingenlot called over Bernard and said "Oh my beloved Bernard,
can you find someone who will cheer me up in these hardest of times?" Bernard replied "Ho.. How but me our royal highness?" The king replied with "Well then... go on...". So Bernard ran off quickly to go grab his equipment for his acts, he brang spoons, brooms, plates and all kind of stuff and then quickly ran off to the kings room. Then off he went and performed his tricks and showed of his talent. At first the king was not sure but then he erupted in laughter and said "Bernard my boy! You have quite some talent there! How about you do this more often? I'll rank you up from cleaning boy to jester" Bernard replied" Oh thank you your royal highness!" As Bernard rushed of to tell everyone about the great news, Sir Mingenlot said "Wait! I'll even get one of my servents to make a suit for you, you can pick the colours and all!" From that point on Bernard was known as one of the best Jesters in the kingdom of Sir Mingenlot.
