Xenia - The Ice Goddess





Once op on a time, there was a land called the Ice Land. All the people were very sad, because it was very cold. The Ice Land had a huge palace, build for the queen, the king, and their children. The king was very unhappy, because his people felt bad. But his wife, the queen, was pregnant. This reason gave him strength and made him keep going. And after some time, they finally had a baby, but after a week, the queen died for an unknown reason. King's heart broke apart and after a few years of heartbreak, he died. The only heir to the throne was their little daughter - Xenia. At age of 15, she became the youngest of all time Ice Land's queen. Xenia knew that her people were unhappy, and she didn't want that any of people would feel bad, and she decided to let people to choose by themselves. And so she took a lit up candle and said: "This is going to be the star, what will give the people warmness, and keep their lives going." Then Xenia took a water drop and said: "This is going to be your source of water, and a home of fish." Then, she took a little piece of wood and said: "And finally, this is going to be yours and animals home, you will feel safe and good in here." And like this she created the Earth and the Sun, and let all the people have the free choice how they want to live. Sometimes, we still can see how Xenia cries for her dead Mother and Father, when teardrops starts falling down from the sky.
