Good day. Today I will explain the tale of the runaway elf named Eliade.
Eliade was a young elf girl. She was born to 2 lovely parents, before "Santa" even existed. She grew up her life as a quiet musician, proud of her talents. All was well, her little elf village thrived.
However, her village's peace didn't last long. The young Eliade was walking to her usual performing spot when she starting seeing some suspicious characters. During her performance, a whistle blew and innocent people, including Eliade, were ambushed. They knocked her out using some chemicals... Chloroform? She didn't know. However, when she woke up, she was trapped in a small room with a dirt floor. In the room she was in, there were a few tools, some wood, a crafting bench, and a large wall clock displaying the time. There was only one steel door, but it was bolted, preventing her escape.
She got up to examine the tools. Then she saw a note with fancy handwriting that said, "Make toys. At 6pm on the dot, you must have 30 toys done or you will get 5 lashings for each one you skipped out on. ~Santa" Her eyes widened as she thought about what to do... She came to the conclusion that she'd HAVE to make the toys... She certainly didn't want to be beat.
As she finished up the last poorly made toy for the day, she looked at the clock. 4:53. During the whole time of making toys, she was pondering on how to escape. She finally came up with an idea.
'Since the floor is made out dirt, that means I can probably dig my way out... And I have the tools to do so!' She thought. For days upon days, she'd finished the required number toys then slowly dig more of her little tunnel under the wall. She almost lost her insanity multiple times, but singing helped past the time and get her mind back on track to building toys. She'd always hide the hole by the time by the devil himself, Santa, came to pick up the toys.
Finally, she finished the tunnel. That night, after Santa picked up the toys, she escaped. As she looked back, Eliade could see a giant facility. She ran as fast as she could until finally, she saw some familiar landmarks. When she finally came upon her village, Eliade was devastated. Her whole village was burned to the ground. She rummaged through the rubble, but only could find a cape covered in black ash. She put it on and ran far, far away. Her singing and willpower carried her along the way to a safe haven in a lush forest.
Some say you can still hear her sad songs today, how they seem to come from not a particular point, but from the trees scattered about.
Poor story, I know. But whateves ^-^
