Hi guys i was kind of so i thought to make skins for amours.
Making skins for Armour mean that u wont have to follow the same iron,gold,diamond texture.
Player install skins to look good but when they wear armour it is the same as old.
So i made skins for armour which will do the same resistance but the texture will be different.
You can have 3,4 skins with 3,4 armour and you can also mix it.
I have only made 1 armour skin till now.
The skin designed is not mine it is from http://minecraft.nov...lame-mage#apply
And it will also work with modes if the mod has its own amours.
I have tried of Am2, you can change the texture of armour in it.
And I think it will work with others also.

Installation:
1: Goto your version folder in minecraft.
2: Open your version folder like 1.6.4.
3: Open the .jar file with any rar program like Winrar.
4: Navigate to assets\minecraft\textures\models\armor.
5: Choose which armour do you want to change and save it to a safe place. Note: Both files layer_1.png + layer_2.png.
6: Download the Skin.
7: Extract the download anywhere.
7: Rename the "layer_1.png" file to "your armour type_layer_1.png" like diamond_layer_1.png
8: Rename the "layer_2.png" file to "your armour type_layer_2.png" like diamond_layer_2.png
10: Delete the old file and paste it in the folder.(Replace the files )
11: Close the folder and if you have done it correctly it will work.
Note: The .jar file is to be opened not extracted.
Note: The icons of the armour wont change.
Note: It very much same for the mods also.
Note: Some mods may or may not have armour folder inside model folder, the armours skin can be in model folder.
Note: The real thing is to replace the file and it should have the same name the old one had.Specially for mods.
