I just decided it was probably cool to get myself a Forum Avatar that is actually related to my in-game skin look. There are a bunch of generators out there, where you type in your username and they fetch the char.png from mojang servers or at least something similar.
I have recently changed my skin on both single and multiplayer (via minecraft.net). That said it was weeks before the Mircrosoft Deal was confirmed. So in both single and multiplayer my new skin works for me as well as for others. But no matter which avatar generator I use they still show a skin which I last used ages ago.
How is that possible?

Also: Yes there are a couple of threads that deal with a SIMILAR issue. But the didn't help me plus were necros so I decided it might be best to start my own topic.
