Captain Maria Crimson

Maria Crimson grew up sailing the seas. Her father, Captain Samuel Crimson, raised Maria and taught her everything there was to know about being a pirate and living on the seas. They sailed on a boat called Saint Maria. Her father had named her after their prized ship. Together, Maria, Samuel and there entire crew sailed all over the world, exploring new lands, meeting new people, and finding bounties of treasure. One day, when Maria was 17, the crew sailed to the forbidin lands of Alsera. Alsera was known as The Cursed Lands, because many horrid creatures inhabited the islands. No pirate in their right mind would ever venture there, however Captain Samuel Crimson was very confident. It was not long after reaching the somg covered island that the crew was attacked by a kraken like creature. The monster was ginormous, and Maria was certain they wouldn't make it out alive. During the intense battle, a crew of 20 people versus one giant kraken, Maria lost her eye. She was in so much pain, she didn't realize that the kraken then killed her father and the rest of the crew. Maria ran away and hid, and the kraken went back into the ocean. After it was all over, Maria was ashamed of herself. She decided to dedicate her life to avenging her father and defeating the kraken, no matter how long it took.
