The strange G-man from the Half-Life to series!
I think he's trying to use people like a delivery van to get to places and stop things from happening. =P
The Nihilanth was also one of G-man's slaves but resisted so G-man put him under many surgeries and tries to stop Gordan Freeman so he does not go through what he did. Just my theory.
