Pyrauramar – The Sea ElvesPyrauramar (pronounced: pie-row-ah-mar)are a race of sea elves that previously lived on the island of Fihohx (pronounced: fee-ox), but now travel the seas by boat after the Great Sinking of Fihohx. Tall in stature, and pale in complexion, these elves lived peacefully on their island for centuries as fishermen and sea/storm mages. The typical appearance of these elves are a large height, normally an adult is ranging from 5’9-6’5. Their skin is a pale grey blue, with dark grey markings across the neck/chest, face, arms, and legs. They have webbed hands and feet, plus small dorsal fins along their arms and spine to assist them in swimming. They are naturally good swimmers, as they take their appearance and attributes from sea creatures. Not to mention their uniquely shaped ears, which take the form of fins. Their eyes are normally orange or green, and hair colors are white, grey, dark teal, and black.
Fihohx was a very tropical island normally clouded in mist, and covered in dense forest. It was also prone to storms, and the Pyrauramar took advantage of this. Through close studies of these storms, the learned how to harness the energy and manipulate it, making them very powerful storm mages. They are also sea mages, and could harness the energy of the waves and ocean, aiding them in fishing, and traveling by boat.
The Pyrauramar lost their island in the Great Sinking of Fihohx, which was during the Jodoeus (pronounced: jo-doh-ay-us) invasion. The Jodoeus were a violent race of humans, who wished to conquer the land. They originated from the continent of Geiasau (pronounced: Jay-ah-sow). Being a peaceful race, not used to war, the Pyrauramar had no other choice than to sink Fihohx with powerful storm and sea magic permanently to stop the invasion of the Jodoeus. The Pyrauramar got onto their boats, leaving behind the most powerful mages to end the Jodoeus. The mages succeeded, but at a price. They lost their home permanently, along with their greatest people at the time. The rest of the Pyrauramar now travel the seas in search of a new home, and also trade with the people of other countries.
