The Cartographer - Life on the High Seas Skin Contest

In long forgotten times, when a doldrum meant dead, when even the smallest lack of wind could hinder the crossing of the great oceans, a small ship sailed over the seven seas.
It was merely a bigger raft with a small hut and a tiny sail on a piece of wood which reassembled a raw-cut stickmore than a mast;and an old man in colorfull clothing could be seen sitting on the ships bow.
He called himself the Cartographer, but old jack-tars all over the world spun their tales about a man they called "The Vendor of Winds".
Whenever a ship drifted over the oceans without any hope to reach it's destination, he used to side the boat and come aboard.
He always made a map for those who treated him well; and his directions were always right and full of wind.
Those who mistreated him, however, had to pay in gold for a map;
And if they refused, they were cursed to roam the seas untill their miserable lifes would end.






Yeah...
This is the first skin I've finished in four months...
I'm a bit out of practice, you could say.
