How to use skin on my server

Hi guys First of all sorry if I post in the wrong section. I was thinking a way to use custom skin on my private (offline) server (in which I play with friends). Some time ago I used to use Mineshafter launcher, but now it seems to not working anymore. Is there some similar launcher? Or is there an another way to realize what I want to do?
