Aquamarine The Gem!

This is for a contest! Thanks to _MissMittens_ for letting my entry in even a little bit late in the day ;o;
Not the best but I had fun making it!

Aquamarine, the Goddess of all the is cold. Growing up in a small town in Russia, she excepted her fate as a young child that she would always live in a harsh enviroment, with a bad salary and a rotten home. Over the years, she grew more and more miserable, and eventually sacrificed herself to the cruel enviroment.

Zeus, thinking he was doing a good deed, saved Aquamarine just before her last breath hit out of her lungs. She was immortal, and deemed with the title of goddess. Only thinking it fair, Zeus named her the goddess of all that was cold, and gave her an eternity of sentence in the place she hated.

Miserable and cold, they say she still lives up in the mountains, a horrible witch that no one loves. They say the only time she was a shadow of her former happy self, is when spring and the "heat" rolls around.
