CHALLENGE ACCEPTED _MissMittens_ - Meet Tourmaline

This is Tourmaline. 

Tourmaline was an orphan who was found in a mine by a miner. When she was found asleep in the mine, she was surrounded by the gemstone, tourmaline, and in that section of the mine it was surprisingly warm, unlike the other frigid sections of the mine. It was as if the mine was trying to keep her warm so that she could survive. She soon grew up, and was very different than the others. She was very shy and quiet during school and at home, but when she went with her father into the mines, she was quite pesky and talkative. She would go to the mines everyday, and sometimes she would do strange things in the mines. She would whisper to the walls, and then pause as if seeking an answer. She never wore a shawl in the mines, because she said she was always warm. No one really cared, until one day after going into the mines, she didn't come out.

Everyone was searching for Tourmaline, but no one could find her anywhere. Some said they saw and heard her, but no one in town believed them. She was described as unmistakingly beautiful. She was dressed in a multicolored gown, and her hair was drawn up in a neat, glossy bun. She had emerald green eyes, which contrasted her stone grey/brown hair. She was pale, and can be heard whispering to the walls every year on the day she was found. No one ever found her, but they say she roams the mines, in the section where tourmaline is mined. You know when she is near because the mines turn suddenly warm, and you can hear her whispers to the walls of the mine.
