I've had a HUGE dry period with skinning. No good skins. D: This skin was a "ohheylookihaveacrappyideasoimgoingtomakeitforacontest." yup :\ Here's the story.Luke closed the door and strolled down the street to the bus station. He head was still swirling from the noise and movement of the Halloween party. But now it was time to get costumed.
He jumped off the bus and walked down a sidewalk. He checked his watch. 10:24. He would be late for his trick-or-treating squad rendezvous!
He jumped off the path and sprinted through an empty park. Wow, creepy! The faster I run the faster I'll be out of this park. Luke doubled his speed and flew through the groves of trees.
What the heck! Luke crashed to the ground. He pulled himself up and limped forward a few paces. He noticed his shin had a long sliver of wood stuck in his calf. He flinched, pulled it out, and continued at a trot back to the house.
He slipped through the door and climbed the stairs to his room. I don't feel so good. I think I'm just going to wear a mask instead of a pirate costume. Luke grabbed a skull mask and limped out the door. He trotted down the sidewalk. Dangit! Gotta go faster. . . I'm already late!
Ouufff. Luke hunched over and grabbed his calf. He rolled up his pants leg and studied the wound. It was a sickly. . . brown? What is going on! I must still be sleeping at the party! He continued to walk down the street, stopping periodically as his calf cramps with pain.
200 yards from the station, he stopped and groaned. He reached for his calf and stopped. His hand was a tree limb. No. nononononono! He contorted suddenly and stood up. Luke was gone; in his place was Zaetos—half man, half tree. The creature ran into the woods never to be seen in the area again.
