When the nuclearwinter began humans....
had to search for ways to survive. A group of 34 people found caves by
the ocean which were sheltered enough to live in. Over time the group evolved
to suit the climate. Their visions ability decreased because it was so dark inside
the caves this is why their eyes have a glazed over look, they use their
hearing to see each other and through the caves pathways. Their skin is
extremely pale and thicker than a normal humans skin, this means there bare
skin won't get frostbite or ice burns while in the shelter of the caves, they
feed off washed up sea creatures so their bodies became immune to food
poisoning and able to eat raw flesh, there hair lost its pigment over the years
and became so white that it looks blue.
The name (snowflake) came from their extremely white
skin and hair, it was rumoured that they were as light as a snowflake from the lack
of nutrition.
